Welsh Alphabet Tracing Board
These solid beech Welsh/English alphabet tracing boards are a resource designed to support teaching & learning in the 'Early Years'. Making learning fun and supporting teaching of letters, sounds and correct letter formation. A primary school handwriting font has been used to support with consistency between home and school learning. The boards are available to purchase as a single sided lowercase option or double sided board with uppercase on one side and lowercase on the other side. All boards are provided with a wooden stylus to encourage correct pencil grip.
How do I use the board with my child? Children start by tracing the letters with their finger and move onto using the stylus. Remember to also fun by filling the letters with sprinkles, coloured rice, play dough, mini pom poms etc as this will help children recognise the shape of the letter. Use a finger/stylus to learn how to write the letters. Why not put a pom pom at the top of the letter and use the stylus to push it around to encourage correct letter formation.
